Binnovative to Partner with Santouka for Business Plan Competition 2015! (ビジネスプランコンペティション2015開催決定!)

The massively popular Japanese ramen chain, Ramen Santouka, teams up with Binnovative to host a Marketing Business Competition this coming fall.

Ramen Santouka founder, Hitoshi Hatanaka, and his family have been crafting mouthwatering bowls of ramen for over 27 years after opening its first shop in Asahikawa (Hokkaido), Japan in March 1988. Since then, they have grown to over 22 shops in Japan alone, and 57 shops worldwide. The company recently opened a branch in Boston, bringing the number of shops in the US to eleven.

In collaboration with Binnovative and bringing American and Japanese perspectives together, Ramen Santouka is looking for novel promotion ideas to attract new customers, discover new markets, and expand their business. Winning ideas will be executed by Ramen Santouka in collaboration with chosen team members. The competition provides the opportunity to gain first hand experience with entrepreneurship, as well as the chance to partner with one of the most successful global ramen chains.

The competition is open to anyone in the Boston area. You can register through our event website, and we welcome teams or individuals to join. There will be a kick-off meeting in September with the final presentation at the beginning of October.
